About The Secure Path
The Secure Path exists for the moment between recognising a pattern and knowing what to do about it. We translate attachment science into small, kind, practical guides anyone can use — no jargon, no shame.
Our methodology
Every guide is grounded in adult attachment research (Hazan & Shaver, Mikulincer & Shaver, Sue Johnson, Stan Tatkin, and others) and reviewed by practitioners who work with couples and individuals. Self-assessments are designed for reflection, not diagnosis.
What this is — and isn't
The Secure Path is an educational resource. All content, tools, and guided exercises are for self-reflection and learning purposes only. They are not therapy, clinical treatment, or a substitute for professional mental health support. If you are in crisis, please contact local services or a qualified clinician.
Inspired by, not affiliated with
Our parts-work and Ideal Parent Figure content is inspired by Internal Family Systems therapy (developed by Richard Schwartz) and the IPF protocol (developed by Daniel P. Brown and David Elliott). The Secure Path is not affiliated with the IFS Institute or with Brown and Elliott, and nothing here is a substitute for working with a qualified IFS or attachment-focused therapist.
Privacy
Quizzes and reflections run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into a reflection leaves your device unless you choose to share it.
